Does Anyone Work At American Eagle or Know Thr Fitting Room Proedures?

Hi everybody! I was in American Eagle yesterday, and I was treated vey rudely. Not only that, but when I asked to try something on, I was told that I could not take a hat in the fitting room. I wanted to try it on to see how it looked with my outfit and they said no! I could understand jewelry or underwear...even socks! I have never experienced anything like that.

Hi there! I work at AE and unfortunately hats (along with shoes, underwear, bags, and jewelery) are not allowed into the fitting rooms. That being said at my store we have a large mirror that is in the fitting room area where all the doors are and I always let people try on hats there after they have changed into the outfit they want to buy. I am not sure what the setup of the store is where you live. But the person working the fitting room definately should not have been rude to you. I would talk to the store manager or any manager that is on duty the next time you go back and they will more than likely be able to hear about your issue concerning the rude employee.

As someone who really likes to write about health, I was challenged recently when a friend asked me how I would pick a pair of golf shoes that were most beneficial to my health.

I hadnÂ’t thought much about it but a little research shows that it is an issue worth investigating.

According to the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, 43 million Americans per year suffer from foot-related health issues, costing $3.5 billion in treatment and lost workdays.

The average golfer will spend 4 - 6 hours on the golf course each time he or she plays, walking on typically hilly terrain. Adequate foot comfort during this time is a must as there is a lot of potential here for feet, ankles and back to become strained due to ill-fitting shoes, particularly in older players.

Ultimately, safe and protective footwear will reflect on your game too. Experts have stated that the game of golf begins from the feet. According to Jack Nicklaus: "All timing, distance, and direction comes out of the lower body with the feet leading the way”.

Choosing golf shoes has become harder over time. 15 years ago we were restricted mainly to “traditional” models (brogues or similar). Nowadays there are all sorts of variations, from boots to sandals.

How do you know which golf shoe will be right for you, and also best for you feet, your back as well as your swing?

Here are some tips for getting the healthiest golf shoes for you:

Take your time when trying potential new golf shoes on. Allow yourself time to walk around in the pro store. DonÂ’t be embarrassed to spend 5 minutes or more feeling the fit of a pair of shoes.

Some people advise that you come to shop following a 20 minute walk when your feet are fully expanded. Certainly, it is better to shop in the afternoon, than in the morning, for this reason.

When trying shoes, wear the same thickness of sock that you would on a golf course. Failure to do this could result in shoes that tighter or looser than normal, which could cause blisters or sore feet.

Try on both shoes, wearing golf socks. Lace fully and walk about to assess comfort.

If youÂ’ve had ankle problems you might want to try one of the new high-top models that give more ankle support. However, bear in mind that you need to be able to swing out and around your shoes, at the ankle. So you need to ensure that such shoes wonÂ’t impede your movement.

Do you have one foot markedly larger than the other? You could investigate a range of shoes by High-Tec created to address this. With these models, you can adapt the fit of each shoe to suit the shape of each foot.

Do you wear orthoses in your regular shoes? Then remember to transfer them to your golf shoes if your podiatrist has recommended this.

Finally, if a round of golf leaves you with painful feet, first assess the fit of your shoes. Consider changing to more supportive, stable footwear. If the pain persists and does so for more than 3 consecutive rounds, consider visiting a podiatric sports physician.

The right golf shoe should let you stay comfortable through your round and help you concentrate on your game. If you can go through several rounds without noticing your feet, the shoes are doing their job.

Would America's Next Top Model work if you really wanted to model for a living?

I really want to be a model and wondered if America's Next Top Model would help at all.

A lot of former contestants and winners from the show are still modeling, so it does give you entry into the industry. However, none of the models found on ANTM have truly become top models or supermodels. They will probably never reach the level that Janice Dickinson, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista did in their times, nor the status that Heidi Klum, Gisele Bundchen and Kate Moss hold today.

So, you think you know your cars now, do you? Well, consider this to be a test of your knowledge of Pontiac history. 21 Pontiacs are featured here: some are current models while others are truly classic in every sense of the word, dating back to the early 1960s.

6000 - Full sized [or almost] front wheel drive sedan of the 1980s.

Aztec - Ugly is as ugly does. This crossover vehicle ashamed the Pontiac fleet for two years during the early 00s.

Bonneville - Full sized Pontiac sedan excitement retired in 2005 after more than 40 years of service. Part of GM's massive restructuring and retiring of top model names.

Catalina - This model hearkens back to the mid 60s when two door hard tops ruled the day. Discontinued during the late 70s during GM's "down sizing" shell game days.

Fiero - Mid-engine sport two-seater built for Pontiac during the go-go 80s. GM reached into their parts bin and took out Chevette and other components to create this little roadster.

Firebird - It goes without saying that this "pony" car is sorely missed. The good news is that it may be back by the time the 2009 model year rolls around.

Firefly - Twin to the Geo Metro, the Firefly was Pontiac's 3 cylinder captive import of the late eighties to mid nineties.

G6 - Current compact model in Pontiac's arsenal available in rakish coupe or sporty sedan.

Grand Am -- With its 1973 debut, the Grand Am quickly became the division's mid-range performance car. Retired in 2005 with a host of other Pontiac model names.

Grand Prix - Hidden tail lights and a concave rear window marked the Grand Prix's 1963 debut. The car has survived GM's model name shake out and today's car is a mid-sized, front wheel drive sports sedan.

GTO - Introduced in 1967, the GTO was a true coupe turned sports car. Eliminated in the 1970s, the GTO is back thanks to GM's Australian division, Holden. Rear wheel drive and a big V8 too.

LeMans - Originally a Tempest model, the LeMans became its own model once the Tempest name was retired in the 1970s. Retired in the mid 1990s after a cheap Korean car was allowed to carry its name. Sheesh!

Montana -- A minivan for Pontiac, if not for the ages.

Parisienne - During the 1980s Pontiac needed a version of the Chevrolet Caprice. This full sized, rear wheel drive sedan filled the bill.

Phoenix - Part of GM's "X cars" of compact import fighting vehicles introduced during 1979 as a 1980 model.

Sunbird - Nothing but a rebadged Chevy Cavalier.

Sunfire - Compact coupe retired in 2005 as part of, you guessed, GM's model restructuring.

Sunrunner - Nothing but a rebadged Geo/Chevy Tracker.

Tempest - From the early sixties until the early seventies, the term "muscle car" befit this hot coupe. Especially nice as a convertible!

Trans Sport - Hideous looking minivan that debuted in the early 1990s. Mercifully replaced years later by the Montana.

Vibe - A currently produced compact five door sport wagon; cousin to the Toyota Matrix.

So, there you have it. At least another half dozen models were left out from this time period plus many models that dated back to the division's founding as part of the Oakland Automobile Company in 1926. Pontiac excitement...have you caught it yet?

Skipper is no longer in production. You can sometimes find Teen Skipper & her friends on ebay. These dolls were produced in the 1990's.

Barbie Top Model?

i just got a barbie top model doll that came with a hat and a stand. those 2 are what i need help on. i cant get her hat on and i don't know how to get her to stay on her stand!! i got barbie.

Wow, I'm an old woman who wouldn't take a top model out of the stand unless you plan to display her. I lot of the Silkies clothes are made onto them.

Look in the thumbtack dept of a office supply store and they have these "short" straight pins used for marking maps. This is what I use on hats. What kind of stand is it? Most of them are difficult so you have to play with the positions of the legs and feet and use them to give the stand balance (usually in a walking position with both feet touching. Also you may have to tilt the waist back or forwards a tiny bit just to get balance.

How can i start to become a Barbie collector?

I been buying Top Model Barbie's now and my first Collector doll, Dolls of the World Spain. I want start collecting but the prices are a little too high, and I don't have enough space to store them. what should I do?

You should buy them when they are barely new because prices go up fast like you wouldn't believe! Toy stores tend to take advantage, so they price dolls higher than what they're worth at the time, look in your local department stores where they might have the same doll for less
Amazon.com has some pretty nice dolls but really look into prices because someone might be selling a doll for like $10.00 while another person might have the exact same one being sold for $50.00+

Restonic may make many different types of mattress but its core business, like most other manufacturers, is its innerspring models. Currently these are grouped under the Restonic ComfortCare range. First, let's cut through the jargon the company uses in describing the mattress to the consumer. The 'Marvelous Middle System' touted by the company is nothing more than putting more coils in the center third to provide better support. This is old hat; all manufacturers of quality mattresses place more coils here as it obvious this is the area that has to bear the greatest load.

The SuperEdge Plus Technology is also sales babble. It's nothing more than placing high density foam around the edge of the mattress to encase the coils. It provides a firm edge and consumer seem to like it.

Also, there are many names being floated around for its ComfortCare mattress; like the 'Grand Palais' but they are all essentially the same in that there are three basic models; Firm, Plush and EuroTop. The Firm is firm, the Plush a little softer and the EuroTop softer still.

So, how does the ComfortCare compare to other brands? In its price bracket you have to compare it to its biggest competitor; the Sealy Posturepedic. Many customer reviews liked the Comfort Care when first used but after years of use many complain about depressions forming where they sleep. This seems more prevalent on the EuroTop models. While not entirely without criticism, the Sealy Posturepedic rates higher.

The Restonic latex mattress is comprised of a 6" high density core with various quilts and toppers that vary by model. In comparison a Sealy SpringFree latex mattress comes with 8.9" core and there's more choice in quilts and toppers. The SpringFree is perhaps a better product, but the Restonic is considerably cheaper and I would personally choose it over the Sealy.

The Restonic memory foam mattress comes with a 6.5" high density foam core and 5 lbs of viscoelastic topper. The thickness of the topper depends on what model you choose; the Sensi Pedic mattress comes with 3.5" and the Sensi Lux Plush comes with 4.5". This compares very favorably with the Sealy TrueForm mattress and it's probably a better mattress than the Serta True Response in terms of value for money. All in all, the Restonic Sensi is a good mattress at a very good price, a combination that will make it an attractive proposition for many would be buyers.

A Restonic mattress is a good mattress. No matter which mattress you buy you'll be paying less for it than its major competitors. Some might argue that the mattress won't be as good as the more expensive brands, but I think this is unfair and believe all its mattresses represent very good value for money.
