I purchased this toy for my 6 year old daughter. She loves it and I have no major complaints about it. I was expecting Ariel’s “flipper” to be removable and have legs beneath, but such is not the case. She pivots at the at the waist, but the flipper is just a solid piece of plastic with a piece of fabric at the end for the wide fins. I think my daughter would have enjoyed changed Ariel from a person to a mermaid and back. The color changing characteristics are a novelty at first and they work alright, but the real fun just pretending.
