I have a porcelain barbie and I was wondering about how much it would be worth.?

My grandmother gave me a porcelain barbie some time ago, it was still in the box, though i have bought a glass case that it now sits in(but I kept the box). The card that came with it says this

It also says that only 7500 were made and that this was number 4763. I'm not sure if this is something that could be worth something someday, or another piece my grandma saved for some unknown reason...
I checked the liveauction site and that is not the same doll that i have. The one I have is a red head and came in a black box...i believe the dress is different as well....

There's other information you're not telling us then, and it's really frustrating. For example, because it's called musical, does this play music? What other dates are on the item? This item is clearly not from 1959 -- it's a reproduction. How can we offer you any valid answer if you don't provide ALL the details we need?

Your porcelain doll was probably made in the middle 1990s by Enesco. Enesco specializes in porcelain anyway, and they had a line called "From Barbie With Love," which is part of the "Glamour Collection."

All of this being the case, your doll is worth between $25 and $100. You wanted to know how much it would be worth, right?

It's made by Enesco, so it's not Mattel, and the value isn't very high.

That Barbie is worth about $60 to $100. It's odd, because if it wasn't porcelain, it would be worth more -- a lot more. We're talking like $900 - $2,000.

Oh, but here's why: That doll was actually made in 1989. It's a porcelain reproduction of the 1959 Barbie. The Barbies past about '75 aren't worth as much.

Because you've removed her from the box, she will probably be worth less than $100, more in the $70 range. It's good you still have the box, though.
