I need to locate vintage "sick" doll?
Growing up I had a doll with tiny removable yellow and pink dots, arm and leg cast and crutches. I cannot locate this anywhere. I don't know who made this doll. The time would be late 50's to 60's. Don't remember her name either (large doll not Barbie).
I think you are talking about Mary-Bel - "THE DOLL THAT GETS WELL." It was a 16" doll and made by Madame Alexander around the time you mentioned and advertised as the doll that helps children overcome their fear when they are ill.
