Who deserves more condemnation: Michael Richards or R Kelly?

R Kelly has had sex with minors (including a 14 year old girl) and has even urinated on one; and he still has a career. Michael Richards went on an obscene racial tirade against African-Americans in a comedy club and he has virtually no future showbiz prospects. (Although, at the time of this incident he didn't have much of a career left). Still, his tirade received a lot more press, and nationwide condemnation.

I guess, the heart of this question is: Which is the worse crime: paedophilia or racism?

Well, statutory rape & producing child pornography are actual crimes, whereas calling someone 'a name' is (typically) not.... so, if found guilty, R Kelly is worse imo.

BTW to answer the earlier 'answer', media reports state the judge in R Kelly's case has set a "firm" trial date of May 9 (see link to Chicago Tribune article in listed resources below).

And in regards to Michael Richards, there's an article on the Electronic News Network that provides evidence showing he is NOT a racist - ie. racists general do not attend Def Comedy Jam events by themselves... nor would they hire half their costars to be black, as he did on his own show after Seinfeld finished. In the late '70s, Roger Cleveland founded a company that became well known for producing exquisite replicas of the classic golf clubs made during the two decades after the great depression and the second world war. The metal's light density properties allow the Cleveland club designers to easily distribute the club head weight for optimum performance.

In 2005, Cleveland Golf Company was acquired by Quick Silver, Inc. as part of the company's purchase of its Groupe Rossignol holding company.

Presently, Cleveland Golf operates from its headquarters in Huntington Beach, California. In addition to its tour sponsorships, including the Byron Nelson championship, Cleveland Golf is active in collegiate and junior golf. It sponsors numerous tournaments and clinics throughout the United States.

Touring professionals sponsored by Cleveland Golf include Bob Estes, Boo Weekley, Brett Wetterich, Craig Perks, Glen Day, Jerry Kelly, Joe Durant, Ken Duke, Kent Jones, Michael Putnam, Richard S. Johnson, Rod Pampling, Scott Gutschewski, Stephen Marino, Steve Flesch, Steve Lowery, Vijay Singh, Wes Short Jr., and Woody Austin.
