Where can I learn more about a doll designed by Marian Yu?

I have a Marian Yu doll, and I want to know more about her. I got her from my late great grandmother a few years ago. On the back of her neck is a number: "2039/3000." What would be ideal is a data base with all of Marian Yu's dolls, but I can't seem to find one. Help? ^^;

You might try a Google or Yahoo search for Marian Yu directly. I beleive she created fashionable porcelain dolls. Your local library may have doll collector books available you could search as well. I'm not terribly familiar with her dolls but historical sources and the www would be your best bet. Likely you will never find a database listing all her dolls as a listing like that would have to be specially compiled by an author/collector who could be published. Complete listings for dolls of any maker are kind of rare anyway.
