What are pleasant non sticky compliments can you say to win the admiration of the other sex ?
What can you say to your boss of the other sex ?
What can you say to a girl/guy you are introduced to ?
What is said to a colleague of the opposite sex ?
In my opinion, guys don't like being complimented on their clothes.
Don't say things like I like your shoes or stuff like that.
Guys like to show off with their gadgets (laptops & cell phones).
Don't make the compliment straight forward. Don't say I like your raptop. You can compliment him by asking him, where can I get a laptop like this one? He'll understand, you like his laptop.
)
Most guys like to brag.
Also some guys tend to appear like it when girls tell them that their ideas are great. Guys like it when girls think that they are clever or smart.
I don't know if this applies to every guy but I think in general guys are like that.
Dating has been quite a challenge ever since man could remember. It seems like something that man still hasn't perfected even with many centuries of practice. The brilliant intellect of the human mind has brought about great inventions, creations, and discoveries - but it has never fully understood the way dating works.
Some may have come close to figuring it out - but that's just as it is, just close to it. For some, dating someone new means starting from scratch with the whole dating routine and it is just tiresome for others. However, dating is something that can bring colors and spice into a person's life. The joys and emotions stirred by going on a date - especially a good one - is something you don't want to bypass.
However, most people who remain single or choose to remain single because of the countless disappointments that dating has given them, may be doing it wrong. Here are some of the common mistakes singles make:
Faulty Communication
In any relationship, may it be with your family, friends, co-workers, or date; it all boils down to good communication. Faulty communication means that you are just opening a door for misunderstandings or misinterpretation. Open, honest, and frequent communication is something that you should incorporate into your system when dealing with other people. Failure to communicate well do result to misunderstandings and misinterpretations which tend to be the usual root of the falling apart of most relationships. People who drift apart usually started with a failure to communicate well too.
Being Rude
Come on, you know it, being rude is just not good manners. Being rude to anyone is a no-no, and most definitely to your date, your date's friends, and your date's family. You are putting yourself in hot waters - smudging your name too! It could send off the impression that you are not educated enough to know what good manners are. Uh-oh, it could drag your family's reputation down with you too.
Being Possessive
No one likes to be kept on a leash - especially on a tight leash. The feeling of being appreciated and loved is different from being deprived from something that mostly everyone has no problem attaining. Being possessive or jealous can drive other people away from you. If your date has a lot of friends of the opposite sex and you're not comfortable with it, talk about it. If it seems that your date cannot change that aspect of his or her personality, then you weigh things basing on what you want. You can't just settle for less. If you're not comfortable with something, it's either you change or you change your date. You can't be with one person and force them to lose that aspect of their personalities.
Being Negative
Pessimism is poison. Spending an entire evening - or even just dinner - with someone who sees the negative side of everything from the moment he or she steps in to the car until the moment he or she gets out of the car is just tiring. No, actually it's exhausting. Being critical of everything is also a no-no. Imagine your date being critical from the way the roads are aligned, to the way the waiters serve, to the restaurant's service, to the way the food is cooked, to the way the place is lit or decorated. It's exhausting and it's annoying.
In other words, being pleasant is everything. People love pleasant individuals. So the next time you're on a date, be pleasant - it works wonders.
