What's your personal opinion on BJD size?
60cm SD, or 28.5cm Dollfie? plz help? ;D
Neither. I like slim mature minis which are the mature dolls 40cm to 46cm. There are also immature dolls in this size range. I like the size because they are easy to handle and clothes and wigs are often less expensive than SD clothes.
The only slim mature mini Volks makes is SDCute - those are hard to get. But many other companies make slim mature minis.
My absolute favorite is Unoa Lusis and Sist by Gentaro Araki of AlchemicLabo. They are sold as unpainted kits about once per year, and have accessory large bust and many optional faceplates.
I also like Narae by Narindoll, US distributor Dollfair.
My favorites are pricey but there are less expensive mature minis starting at around $200. If you get a mature mini that fits in Unoa/Narae clothing there are plenty of clothes available.
