why buy a collectors edition version of a game?
for the 360. my friend said that if you buy the collectors edition any updates are free. Like... going to pittsburg in fallout 3. it cost like 15 dollars, but supposedly with collectors edition it would be free. It cost 20 dollars more, so unless this is true idc enough to buy collectors.
A collector's edition just costs more and comes with bonus material or enhancements, such as having behind the scenes of the making of the game, items in the game, etc.
For instance, Call of Duty 4 Collector's Edition will come with behind the scenes, real night vision goggles, a special case, etc. It just costs more with more stuff in it for collector's and gamers true to the game.
The Fallout 3 Collector's Editon comes with a Fallout 3 Metal Lunchbox, your very own vault-tec bobblehead, concept art done by the creators, and the making of Fallout 3 DVD. You'll have to buy the expansions online as it doesn't come with it, just those little gadgets.
