Is there a "Dora" Barbie doll?
My daughter's 4th birthday is coming up at the end of this month. She saw this Dora dollhouse that she wants. We decided that the whole "Dora the Explorer" thing will probably grown out of soon. Kids go through phases. So we found a huge doll house that fits Barbie dolls in it. That way if she grows out of the Dora phase, she can still use the house for her Barbies. My question is...do they have any Barbie kind of dolls that are Dora characters? That way she can still have Dora in her dollhouse??? Diego? Boots? BackPack? Swiper? Abuelita? Yes, I know all the characters, LMAO.
I don't recall seeing one, but it wouldn't be too hard to kitbash it. I have a Teresa that looks like a grown-up Dora & a Joe that could easily be a grown-up Diego. I have seen many "safari"-style outfits made for the pre-90s Barbie. Dolls from the Kelly or Tommy series might also be able to play the leads as children...

Are you worried that your children might see a show that is not advisable for them to watch? Are you troubled that your children might not learn something from watching television particularly every after school?
Well, now is not the time to be worried anymore. There are already popular kid shows that are really suitable for children of all ages. Mommies don't have to be bothered every time their children crave to watch television.
You want to know why? It is because Dora the Explorer has been sweeping the silent world of children.
Dora the Explorer is a famous cartoon show which can be seen regularly in Nickelodeon. This story features about a young Spanish girl named Dora Marquez. Dora, in spite of her being young already loves to venture into different adventure quests.
This show is actually intended for younger audiences especially those ages from 6 to 10 years. However, children ages 4 to 5 already enjoy watching this cute young-starred show.
Dora Marquez as others call her knows how to speak English and Spanish. Because of this, younger viewers adapt what they have heard from Dora. They also learned how to speak and understand some basic Spanish words.
This show also features other important characters of the stories such as the very important monkey in the life of Dora - Boots. The name Boots, actually comes from the colored red boots that he always loves to wear. Boots is Dora's best friend. He accompanies Dora in all her trips and adventures.
Another fun full character in the show is the fox which name is Swiper. Swiper always tries to steal anything from Dora and Boots. His real mission is to destroy the successful adventure of Dora.
Other characters of the show Dora the Explorer would be her parents, Papi and Mami, her grandmother. These characters know how to speak and understand English and Spanish as well.
And lastly, one of the coolest characters in the show is Dora's cousin Diego. Diego is a little boy who helps his parents in saving animals out of the danger. He is so clever that he could copy animal noises and get the opportunity to talk to wild untamed animals. You can always depend on Diego to jump, run and swing in rescuing animals that are in great trouble.
He also accompanies Dora in all her adventures. Diego became very famous. He even have his own cartoon show named, Go Diego, Go. Diego has always been a good partner to Dora.
Not only that, both Dora and Diego will teach your children to talk the basic Spanish, sing Spanish songs, recognize different music and learn the fundamentals of Mathematics. It may seem unbelievable but it is true. Some parents would even encourage their children to watch this beautiful show of Dora and Diego.
This show is aired in some parts of the world including United States, Spain, Japan, France, Germany and Philippines. The show has also been translated to different languages to best suit the needs of young individuals.
Just imagine the impact Dora and Diego has to majority of the kids. Kids love them. And as a parent it will not be too much if you love these characters the way your children do to them.
Remember, one best way to get the heart of a child is to love what they love.
