Gave this toy, along with a “Corduroy Goes to the Fire Station” book, to a little 1-yr. old girl. By all appearances, she was happy and excited to receive the gifts. I haven’t actually had any feedback from the parents, but trust it was a good idea. I went with the “fire station” theme because my husband was a career firefighter.

My daughter loves this. I bought it with 2 books and she seems to be more interested and relates the bear to the book better. She loves her corduroy.

My 2-year-old daughter adores all the “Core-roy” books, so when I saw this, I thought he would be a good buddy for her new “big girl room.” I opened the box up and lifted him out…she looked blankly at him for a moment and then squealed “CORE-ROY!” That was about 10 hours ago – he didn’t leave her side the whole time, joining her for dinner, playtime in the yard, and even for story time, where she “read” to him. Now they’re tucked snugly into bed, getting ready for their adventures tomorrow.
I think the “real” Corduroy would approve.

Corduroy has brought indescribable joy to my nephew Jacob. He takes him everywhere he goes. I would have never imagined that this little bear could make a little boy sooo happy! I’m truly glad we bought Corduroy!!!
